Elisabeth Barber, Subtitler/Translator at Videohouse who is currently using the SubtitleNEXT software on a full-time basis, reveals, “We have been using SubtitleNEXT for a couple of months now, mainly for creating subtitles and proofreading existing subtitles. It’s still relatively new to us, so we still have to get accustomed to it a bit more, but it has already proven to be a decent subtitling tool.”
By creating customized hot key selections and keyboard shortcuts, SubtitleNEXT provided users at Videohouse with direct access to and from individual workstations thus allowing Subtitle artists to easily switch between source devices, whenever they need to. Maria adds, “Maximum flexibility is achieved by allowing every operator set up to a personal preference, essential in subtitle creation within broadcast production, therefore we wanted to create a truly flexible and efficient workflow to make our client’s work life easier.”
Elisabeth at Videohouse expands, “Once the software was set-up to suit our needs with keyboard shortcuts, subtitle parameters and so forth, it was then really easy to work with. We have received incredibly helpful support and we look forward to working with it in the future.”
